About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale to join our team at AIMS 2 HOLDINGS INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meats and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Train and mentor junior meat cutters to ensure consistency and quality
  • Prepare visually appealing displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, meats, poultry, and seafood to meet customer demands
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage the operations of package handling and inventory control
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
  • Willingness to relocate
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement. The work language is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
