About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale Specialist to join our team at AIMS 2 HOLDINGS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Cut and Package Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and wrap and package prepared meats for sale.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Train meat cutters and other team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Manage Operations: Manage the operations of package handling, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the workplace is safe and clean.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, and relocation costs will not be covered by the employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
Security and Safety
  • Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check will be required for this position.
