We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter - Retail or Wholesale Specialist to join our team at AIMS 2 HOLDINGS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe processing of meats for retail or wholesale distribution.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
- Cut and Package Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and wrap and package prepared meats for distribution.
- Train and Develop Team Members: Train meat cutters and other team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage Operations: Manage the operations of package handling, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the workplace is safe and clean.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate, and relocation costs not covered by employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
- Criminal Record Check: Required.
