Job Title: Guest Services Coordinator

Location: Whistler, British Columbia
Working Hours: Minimum guaranteed hours - 30 hours/week. Hours may vary between 30-40 hours weekly based on business needs.
Number of Openings: Multiple
Language Requirement: English
Salary: $22.45 to $23.80 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Warmly and efficiently manages phone inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Delivers the highest level of hospitality, addressing guest needs, resolving issues, and assisting with inquiries.
- Takes in-room dining orders and communicates special requests to the culinary team.
- Coordinates timely delivery of orders by Room Service staff.
- Provides alternative menu suggestions, promotes services, and assists with amenity requests.
- Assigns rooms, dispatches personnel, and supports housekeeping operations.
- Ensures the proper functionality of the telephone switchboard and computer systems.
- Communicates effectively with departments and guests through various channels.
- Responds promptly and efficiently in hotel emergencies.
- Exhibits professionalism, teamwork, and a friendly demeanor.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in hotel hospitality.
- High School Diploma.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Commitment to service, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Clean criminal record check.
- Evening availability and flexibility for varied shifts.
