Job Description:

The Guest Services Assistant Supervisor is a key member of our team at Lake Louise Ski Resort & Summer Gondola, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through leadership and guidance of our Guest Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Leadership: Provide high standards of service, exceeding customer expectations and leading by example in ticket sales, customer inquiries, and administrative duties.
  • Team Support: Assist in the daily opening and closing procedures of guest services, ticket windows, and season pass desk, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training and ongoing coaching of staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of customer service.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accuracy of all daily cash outs and oversee product returns, refunds, exchanges, voids, customer credits, reports, and other transactions.
  • Staff Incentives: Assist with planning and implementing staff monthly incentives to boost morale and motivation.
  • Scheduling and Performance Management: Assist with scheduling and e-time management, as well as conducting seasonal employee performance reviews and evaluations.
  • Operational Support: Provide assistance to the Guest Services Supervisor, Guest Services Manager, Accounting, and Payroll as required.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure adherence by team members to company and departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Customer Insight: Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of guests and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
  • Staff and Guest Interaction: Able to deal with staff and guests sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership skills required.
  • Adaptability: Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Multitasking: The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Cash Handling: Cash handling experience required.
  • Administrative Experience: Administrative experience preferred.
  • Customer Service: Previous customer service experience required.
Work Schedule and Dress Code:

Typically, 5 days on / 2 days off (will vary based on business levels)

Dress Code: Uniform shirt provided (at cost), black pants
