Director, Sustainability Reporting and Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Sustainability Reporting and Analytics to join our team at Ontario Teachers'. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our sustainability reporting and analytics strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability reporting and analytics strategy that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Sustainability Reporting and Analytics team to ensure the successful execution of our sustainability reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Sustainability Reporting
- Oversee the development and implementation of our sustainability reporting framework, including the collection and analysis of data, and the preparation of reports and other materials.
- Ensure that our sustainability reports are accurate, complete, and transparent, and that they meet the highest standards of quality and integrity.
- Analytics and Insights
- Develop and maintain advanced analytics and data visualization tools to support our sustainability reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders on sustainability-related issues and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and other stakeholders, to communicate our sustainability performance and progress.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that our sustainability reporting and analytics initiatives are aligned with their needs and expectations.
- Team Management
- Manage and develop a team of sustainability reporting and analytics professionals to ensure that they have the skills and expertise needed to support our sustainability reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to team members to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Education
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, environmental science, or sustainability.
- Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainability reporting and analytics, with a focus on leadership and strategy.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Skills
- Advanced knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, including GRI and SASB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, and to develop insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and develop a team of sustainability reporting and analytics professionals.
