Position Overview
The Senior Sustainability Reporting Manager will take charge of overseeing, directing, and facilitating a variety of initiatives and projects, with a primary focus on sustainability reporting.

Key Responsibilities
You will act as a key resource for the Director of Sustainability Reporting & Analytics, providing valuable insights and expertise regarding current and prospective sustainability metrics and reporting practices across the organization.

Collaboration
This role involves managing multiple projects within the Sustainability Reporting and Analytics division, regularly engaging with partners and team members throughout the organization, including departments such as Investments, Finance, Risk, and IT.

Regulatory Compliance
Stay informed about evolving sustainability reporting standards and collaborate closely with Sustainable Investing (SI) to ensure that the organization’s sustainability reporting meets emerging regulatory requirements.

Data Management
Oversee the gathering of necessary information for sustainability-related metrics and disclosures. Contribute to advocacy and thought leadership initiatives concerning sustainability reporting both internally and externally.

Analytical Support
Assist in the analysis and calculations related to the organization’s Portfolio Carbon Footprint, ensuring alignment with established targets and engaging with external auditors as needed.

Ongoing Analysis
Provide continuous support, insights, and expertise in sustainability reporting and analysis. The sustainability data collected is crucial for regulatory reporting and management reporting utilized by the Investment Division and Total Fund Management to guide investment and strategic decisions.

Performance Measurement
Effectively manage and deliver ongoing sustainability-related analysis, including metrics related to the Portfolio Carbon Footprint (PCF), Green Bond reports, and other sustainability disclosures, measuring these against established targets where applicable.

Process Improvement
In collaboration with Enterprise Operations (EOD – IT), seek opportunities to automate and enhance sustainability-related calculations and management reporting, exploring deeper analytics capabilities such as predictive analytics and sensitivity analyses, while continuing the deployment of self-service tools like PowerBI.

Reporting Requirements
Help define new reporting standards, processes, and internal controls to ensure compliance with both internal and external reporting obligations. Assess the implications of emerging reporting regulations on sustainability metrics and disclosures.

Stakeholder Engagement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including SI (Total Fund Management) and Investment departments, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their sustainability measurement and reporting requirements.

Continuous Learning
Stay updated on current and emerging practices in sustainability measurement, reporting, and disclosure, integrating new methodologies and relevant regulatory requirements into existing reporting frameworks.

Qualifications
- Approximately 8-12 years of relevant professional experience in financial reporting, sustainability analysis/reporting, and/or investment valuation.
- University Degree, preferably with a CPA, CBV, CFA, or MBA.
- Experience in sustainability risk monitoring and reporting and/or valuation is preferred.
- Familiarity with pension, investment fund, or financial services environments is advantageous.
- Proven experience in preparing management and Board-level reporting and analytics.
- Strong project management skills, including participation in cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of emerging sustainability reporting regulations is preferred.
