About the Role

VON Canada is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Nova Scotia. As a LPN, you will provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings across the province.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including diabetes management, dialysis, medication management, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct home visits and provide medical care in a variety of settings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nova Scotia.
  • Experience in community health an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check.
