Job Summary:

We are seeking a General Kitchen Helper with a strong work ethic to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing food, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work safely with all equipment and follow health and safety protocols.
  • Prepare food, including vegetables and snacks, to a high standard.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, general equipment, and facilities.
  • Inspect equipment and food on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Ensure your station is always manned and supplies are fully stocked.
  • Follow the requirements of our Health, Safety, and Environment Management System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Valid Food Safe Certificate.
  • Experience working in a camp, kitchen, or restaurant environment is an asset.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Team player.
