Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Montana's Jasper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.
Responsibilities:- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Load and unload dishwashers, and wash dishes by hand as needed.
- Restock supplies and condiments in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with receiving and storing supplies, including refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and initiative to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with heavy foot traffic.
- Physically demanding work with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
- Standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
- English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen.
- 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
