Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Montana's Jasper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and wash dishes by hand as needed.
  • Restock supplies and condiments in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Assist with receiving and storing supplies, including refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
