Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Montana's Jasper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
- Load and unload dishwashers and washing machines
- Restock supplies and condiments in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Fast-paced kitchen environment
- Physical demands of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- English
- 30 hours per week
