The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations within the establishment, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop cleaning personnel to maintain efficient operations.
- Supervision: Direct and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
- Service Coordination: Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, including maintenance and repairs.
- Collaboration: Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for cleaning staff.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a supervisory role within housekeeping or a related field.
The role also involves participation in community programs that support various groups, including newcomers, youth, veterans, Indigenous peoples, and visible minorities.
