About the Role

As a Senior Media Planner at Starcom, you will be an integral part of a broader Strategy team that drives measurable business outcomes by pursuing and activating against meaningful human insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement media plans that align with client objectives and strategies.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize media spend to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze marketing, industry, and human insights data to inform media planning decisions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses and competitive landscapes to inform media strategies.
  • Present media plans and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with agency partners to ensure seamless execution of media plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media suppliers and stay up-to-date on market conditions.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to overall media plan objectives.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of syndicated media, research, and other data resources.
  • Take an active role in client education on the evolution of the media landscape.
  • Participate in internal and external status meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications.
  • 2-3 years of experience in media planning, with a focus on digital and performance media.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, handling high-volume workloads and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Technical proficiency in media systems and MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
