About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Regional Manager to lead our Service Delivery Division in the Government of Nova Scotia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse team of professionals in the delivery of social service programs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social sciences or management, combined with several years of successful leadership and experience at a supervisory/managerial level in the delivery of social services programs. You will be responsible for ensuring quality client service delivery to a broad range of clients, including those served by the Child and Family Wellbeing, Employment Support and Income Assistance, and Disability Support Programs.

You will be expected to lead teams and enlist the enthusiastic involvement of your staff in problem-solving and the delivery of quality services to clients. Your ability to balance conflicting views with multiple stakeholders and respond to complex, sensitive issues is critical to your success in this position.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Ensure quality client service delivery to a broad range of clients, including those served by the Child and Family Wellbeing, Employment Support and Income Assistance, and Disability Support Programs.
  • Lead teams and enlist the enthusiastic involvement of your staff in problem-solving and the delivery of quality services to clients.
  • Balance conflicting views with multiple stakeholders and respond to complex, sensitive issues.
