Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at North Asian Foods Convenience Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Merchandising: Maintain a visually appealing store environment by stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting products, handling customer transactions, and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, counting inventory, and reporting discrepancies to management.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment by sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash, as well as performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). A criminal record check is required for this position.
