About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Dawson Creek Husky. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and ensure all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure all entrances and exits are secure, and request proof of payment when necessary.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, including during peak sales periods.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
