About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at City Furniture (FSJ). As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, discuss their needs, and provide recommendations on products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers and meet their needs.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous retail sales experience is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
