About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dining Room Server to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our dining rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently ensure food quality, presentation, and service delivery meet established department standards.
- Prepare and provide meal service to residents and guests according to established standards, procedures, and guidelines, respecting individualized services and observing special diet restrictions.
- Ensure dining room appearance meets established standards, including table linens, tables set with appropriate place settings, and wait stations tidy and containing necessary supplies.
- Clear tables, load and safely operate dishwasher, and complete manual ware washing as required.
- Contribute to the team environment, working towards departmental goals and priorities, and providing ongoing feedback from residents and guests to the Food and Beverage Manager on meals and menu choices.
- Communicate with the supervisor if there is a noted change in the nutritional status of a resident.
- Promote a safety culture by continuously working safely, identifying and reporting hazards, following safe work practices and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment, supporting others to work safely, and completing safety education.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has a high-school diploma or a GED.
- Has at least one year of experience with serving food.
- Can provide a clear criminal record check.
- Has a passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
