About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Budget Management: Maintain the project budget, including auditing items to be delivered under projects, and ensuring all invoices have been approved with the proper sign-offs prior to payment.
  2. Financial Reporting: Review weekly and monthly time tracking reports for anomalies, and ensure all financial reports are accurate and up-to-date.
  3. Project Administration: Support the Delivery Team in maintaining project files, including project documentation, approvals, drawdowns, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, and monthly status reports.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Delivery Manager to ensure all appropriate areas are represented on the project team and to maintain momentum of the project against a background of constantly conflicting priorities.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience working on projects end-to-end in Financial Institutions (FI).
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and 3+ years of experience with MS Projects.
  3. Financial Management: 3+ years of experience working on financial project management and budget management.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Clarity Experience: Experience with Clarity.
  2. Big 5 Bank Experience: Experience working on projects at big 5 banks in Canada.
  3. Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish/English.
