About the Team

The Payments organization at Stripe is responsible for building and scaling the infrastructure and financial partner integrations that enable us to accept, manage, and payout money across multiple countries, currencies, and payment methods. Our team is a dynamic and key component of Stripe's success, working closely with finance and infrastructure engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of accurate data between financial partners, internal stakeholders, and Stripe leaders.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Integration Reliability Specialist to join our Payments team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and scaling Stripe's manual and programmatic financial reporting and reconciliation processes for intra-company and outgoing money movement transactions. You will work closely with our financial partners to drive alignment on product usage, troubleshoot and solve technical problems or breakages, and engage with Stripe's financial partners to drive alignment on product usage.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Stripe's payments stack and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that increase the impact of others and help us scale and grow
  • Engage with Stripe's financial partners to drive alignment on product usage and troubleshoot technical problems or breakages
  • Organize and direct complex technical changes and projects between Stripe and our partners
  • Identify and automate inefficient or unnecessary manual processes through code changes, partner agreements, or making and coordinating more complex code changes across Stripe
  • Design future anomaly detection systems and tools to ensure that data flowing through our partner and internal systems is reliable and correct
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a technical role
  • Knowledge of and experience with payment technologies and ecosystems
  • Ability to write high-quality code and navigate Stripe's data using SQL
  • Comfort using developer tools and making well-scoped code changes in Stripe's codebase
  • Great technical problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to establish priorities and reliably execute on solutions with hard external deadlines

We offer a competitive salary range of $109,100 - $163,600, equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
