Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Integration Reliability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Payments organization, you will be responsible for building and scaling the infrastructure and financial partner integrations that enable Stripe to accept, manage, and payout money across multiple countries, currencies, and payment methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Stripe's payments stack and financial partner integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve the overall reliability of our financial infrastructure.
- Design and implement solutions to automate inefficient or unnecessary manual processes.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code to ensure the reliability and scalability of our financial infrastructure.
- Work closely with financial partners to drive alignment on product usage, troubleshoot and solve technical problems or breakages.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical information and provide guidance on financial infrastructure.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of payment technologies and ecosystems.
- Ability to write high-quality code in languages such as Ruby and Java.
- Comfort using SQL to navigate Stripe's data and diagnose the scope and urgency of issues.
- Comfort with developer tools and an ability to make well-scoped code changes in Stripe's codebase.
- Great technical problem-solving skills and an ability to develop a working understanding of a technical system using a variety of methods.
- Great communication skills and an ability to frame messages appropriately for technical and non-technical audiences.
- The will to deliver results and an ability to establish priorities and reliably execute on solutions.
