About the Role

As a Claims Specialist at Metro Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving customer complaints and claims in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze damages and interests to ensure fair and accurate claims processing.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide clear and concise information within the scope of your knowledge.
  • Listen actively, analyze, and diagnose the nature of customer problems to provide effective solutions.
  • Support and take responsibility for resolving customer issues at the first point of contact within your role.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform thorough and accurate clerical tasks to support claims processing.
  • Maintain harmonious relationships with customers and internal teams through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Solve practical problems using logical reasoning and available resources in situations where current standards are limited.

Requirements

  • Experience in the insurance industry, specifically in complaints and claims management.
  • Claims assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to argue and reason in litigation.
