Your responsibilities will include:

LEADERSHIP

  • Enhance P&C through the implementation of optimized systems, tools, processes, and metrics to create efficiencies and provide insights for analysis.

  • Oversee and manage the P&C budget.
TALENT ACQUISITION
  • Supervise employer branding and recruitment initiatives by ensuring effective leadership, structure, roles, and responsibilities are in place.
  • Partner with the leadership team to assess talent needs, guiding headcount planning to ensure the organization has the necessary human resources to achieve its strategic business goals.
  • Assist in creating job descriptions, managing full-cycle recruitment, and onboarding new employees.
CULTURE ADVOCATE
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives throughout the year, including diversity celebrations and programs.
  • Drive the employee engagement survey and provide analytical insights from the results to the senior leadership team to develop action plans for ongoing improvement.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
  • Act as a trusted resource for escalated employee concerns and inquiries.
  • Address and resolve complex employee issues and disputes, ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and organizational values.
  • Coach leaders on effective management strategies, recommending support and programs for further development as needed.
  • Lead the annual performance review process, providing coaching and training to leaders, and ensuring timely completion of reviews.
  • Assist in developing performance review plans.
COMPLIANCE & POLICY MANAGEMENT
  • Develop, update, and maintain HR policies and programs in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the administration of benefits and leave programs, serving as the primary contact for vendors and brokers.
  • Manage the offboarding process.
  • Handle any immigration inquiries and requirements.

You are an ideal candidate if you possess:

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Proven track record in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the executive team and all departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • The ability to foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for your team.
  • A passion for cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • A solid understanding of the challenges within the Tech Industry.
  • A good sense of humor and a positive outlook.
  • CPHR certification is preferred.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now & WorkTango.
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
