Job Title: Deployment Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled Deployment Technicians to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for performing intermediate IMAC activities, hardware rollouts, and software installation/support/upgrades. If you have a strong background in IT and excellent customer service skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, and POS devices.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
  • Perform deskside support services, installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking-related activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: At minimum, a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
  • A+ certification and other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 1, preferably 2 years of field/deskside support service experience doing hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good English language communication skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to work flexible work schedules.
