About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at General Aluminum Railing Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating aluminum structures and components for our railing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Materials Requirements

Plan and procure the necessary materials for aluminum railing fabrication, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.

Lay Out Reference Points and Patterns

Accurately measure and mark reference points and patterns on aluminum sheets and profiles, ensuring precise cutting and fabrication.

Plan Efficient Task Sequencing

Develop and implement efficient task sequences to minimize waste and maximize productivity in the fabrication process.

Assemble and Fit Aluminum Components

Assemble and fit aluminum plates and sections to form structures, ensuring precise fit and finish.

Operate Heavy-Duty Machines

Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as saws and drills, to cut and shape aluminum components.

Construct Patterns and Templates

Design and construct patterns and templates for aluminum fabrication, ensuring accuracy and precision.

Install Fabricated Components

Install fabricated aluminum components into final products, ensuring quality and attention to detail.

Maintain a Safe Work Environment

Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field

Language

English language proficiency

Work Hours

30 to 35 hours per week
