We are currently in search of a Family Support and Education Specialist to contribute to our mission on a Full-time Permanent Basis . Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach initiatives to connect with at-risk families
  • Provide in-home support and collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Build trusting relationships with families to assess their needs and aspirations
  • Implement approaches for the early detection of children's developmental challenges
  • Educate caregivers on child growth and effective parenting techniques
  • Foster social networks and support systems for parents
  • Connect families with local resources and services
  • Stay informed about community support options
  • Mentor students and volunteers in the field

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of parenting and child development principles
  • Empathy towards families facing challenges
  • Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check
