Baker - Pastry Chef

We are a reputable bakery and confectionery company seeking a skilled Baker - Pastry Chef to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and prepare special orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas, and clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a high level of quality and cleanliness.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all products are of high quality and meet customer expectations.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Work Setting: Restaurant or bakery environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- On-the-Job Training: Opportunities for on-the-job training and professional development.
