Electrical Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Electrical Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Bartle & Gibson. As an Electrical Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for handling Electrical Inside Sales and Quotations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process incoming calls and orders
  • Contact current customers and identify new products and potential up-selling opportunities
  • Enter orders into the system and source materials for customers when currently not in stock
  • Maintain knowledge base on current products and learn about new products
  • Provide product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service
  • Support Counter Sales and handle returns as required
  • Work closely with others to ensure customer needs are met
Requirements:
  • Minimum grade 12 education required
  • Minimum of two years' sales experience (counter sales, inside sales or outside sales) required
  • Post-Secondary courses in Electrical preferred
  • Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, electrical contractors, and the public
  • Knowledge of the electrical industry or a background in electrical products would be considered an asset
