We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Interventionist to join our Provincial Preschool Autism Service team. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide assessment, intervention, and coordination of services to preschool-age children with autism and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with autism and their families
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address parent goals and promote child development
- Provide direct supervision to Program Implementers and contribute to the development of care pathways and intervention frameworks
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in autism intervention
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or Board-certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body in Nova Scotia
- Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR certification and First Aid certification
- Two years of recent experience working with children with autism and their families
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in autism intervention and ability to work within an interprofessional collaborative practice framework
