About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Earls Restaurant (Grande Prairie) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including specialty foods, for our guests.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
