We operate multiple food and pharmacy stores, Angry Otter liquor stores, feed mills, bulk petroleum facilities, restaurants, and gas station/convenience stores. Our goal is to provide a range of products and services to support our member-owners and build, fuel, feed, and grow Western Canadian communities together.
**Job Summary**
We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender to join our team at the Highwayman Pub South Surrey. As a key member of our hospitality team, you'll be responsible for providing a positive and friendly guest experience, taking beverage orders, serving drinks, and maintaining a well-stocked bar.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Take beverage orders from customers or servers and serve drinks as requested.
- Keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, and glassware.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide an exemplary guest experience.
- Clean, restock, and ensure all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
- Navigate and operate the POS System.
- Contribute to the team in living our corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**
- Previous bartending experience is an asset.
- Knowledge and appreciation for beer and wine pairings is an asset.
- Valid Serving it Right Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team setting and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to a SAFE working environment.
- Must be 19 years of age or older to be considered.
- This position is based out of the Highwayman Pub South Surrey, though it may require occasional travel and work at other locations as business needs arise.
- Preferred candidates will have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts 7 days a week.
