At Otter Co-op, we're seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at the Highwayman Pub in South Surrey. As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking beverage orders, and maintaining a well-stocked bar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive and friendly guest experience.
- Take beverage orders from customers or servers and serve drinks as requested.
- Keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, and glassware.
- Maintain a positive attitude while providing an exemplary guest experience.
- Clean, restock, and ensure all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
- Navigate and operate the POS System.
- Contribute to the team in living the corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience is an asset.
- Knowledge and appreciation for beer and wine pairings is an asset.
- Valid Serving it Right Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work efficiently in a team setting, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Commitment to a SAFE working environment.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Preferred candidates will have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts 7 days a week.
