About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Worker to join our team at S Tibbi Renovations Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our team to design and implement landscape projects, including planting, pruning, and maintaining gardens, lawns, and other outdoor features.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure that all plants and trees are properly secured and stabilized to prevent damage or loss.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Regularly inspect and maintain our outdoor spaces to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Cut Grass: Maintain our lawns and other outdoor areas by cutting grass to the required height and density.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Keep our outdoor spaces clean and free of debris by regularly removing litter and garbage.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the transportation and application of topsoil, mulch, and other materials as needed.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant and maintain a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees to ensure our outdoor spaces remain beautiful and diverse.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers and other plant nutrients as needed to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Dig Cemetery Graves: Assist with the excavation of graves in our cemetery, ensuring that the work is done with respect and care.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain our landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
  • Write Daily Basic Progress Reports: Document your daily activities and progress to ensure that our team is informed and up-to-date.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Regularly water and tend to our plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure they remain healthy and thriving.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Safely operate and maintain a variety of landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Tree Removal: Assist with the removal of trees and other vegetation as needed.
  • Work Term: Permanent: This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, and proficiency in English is required for this role.
