Job Summary

As a Landscape Crew Leader at Clintar Brampton, ON, you will have the opportunity to advance your career in the landscape management industry. This role involves leading a team of landscape technicians, laborers, and seasonal workers to manage commercial and residential sites across seasons.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians, laborers, and seasonal workers to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
  • Task Delegation: Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure that work is carried out according to company policies and quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers courteously by addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Support foreman in construction, equipment maintenance, and uphold safety protocols.
  • Logistics: Manage daily tuck loading/unloading.
  • Lawn Care: Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing.
  • Landscaping: Aid in landscaping by moving soil, mulch, and plants.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment like mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow blowers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all necessary equipment and tools are in good working condition.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience in landscape/construction.
  • Skills: Skilled in supervising 2-3 individuals, multitasking, and truck/trailer operation. Skilled in equipment use, communication, and time management. Familiar with industry materials and methods. Capable of independent work and team collaboration. Proficient with hand and power tools, and small engine equipment. Capable of lifting 50 pounds consistently.
  • Work Environment: Experience near heavy machinery and outdoor conditions, with flexibility for varied hours including weekends. Experience in snow removal preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Good customer service skills are essential to handle inquiries and requests professionally. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Availability: Willing to work 50+ hours a week and weekends as required.
