About the Role:
Farm Credit Canada is seeking a seasoned executive to join our team as a Senior Leadership Position. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic partnership and advice to our Executive Vice-President (EVP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the EVP and divisional leadership team on strategic matters, providing feedback and supporting executive communications.
- Contribute to developing and executing the division's annual plan, conducting research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide strategic recommendations to resolve business challenges and translate priorities into actionable divisional initiatives.
- Manage the EVP office, ensuring seamless execution of administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven leader with excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to maintain strong partnerships.
- Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive project leader with exceptional time management skills and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Strategic thinker who can handle complex situations on behalf of the EVP.
- Critical thinker who can turn concepts into action and analyze data to tell compelling stories.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Farm Credit Canada's business strategy, corporate objectives, and priorities.
- Business acumen, curiosity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to create partnerships with leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration and seven or more years of progressive experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience handling business issues at an enterprise level.
- Cross-functional experience within the business would be considered an asset.
