Job Summary

The Hungry Vegan House Inc. is seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and care for a variety of crops, including fruit trees, mushrooms, seasonal plants, and vegetables.
  • Operate climate controls and ensure optimal growing conditions.
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning, pruning, and grafting to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of soils, including mixing and potting plants.
  • Monitor and report signs of insect or disease damage.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment

The Hungry Vegan House Inc. is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will be working in a greenhouse setting with a variety of crops and equipment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve our agricultural goals.
