About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Garden Grove Nursery Inc. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Ensure the greenhouse is clean and well-maintained, including tasks such as cleaning, pruning, and transplanting plants.
  • Pest and Disease Management: Monitor plants for signs of pests or diseases and take action to prevent their spread.
  • Plant Care: Water, fertilize, and prune plants to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of greenhouse operations, including plant inventory, maintenance schedules, and pest management activities.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Environment: The greenhouse environment can be hot and fast-paced, with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: The ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods is required.
  • Experience: Experience in greenhouse operations is an asset, but not required.
Working Conditions
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
