About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Garden Grove Nursery Inc. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Ensure the greenhouse is clean and well-maintained, including tasks such as cleaning, pruning, and transplanting plants.
  • Pest and Disease Management: Monitor plants for signs of insect or disease damage and report any issues to management.
  • Plant Care: Assist in the care and maintenance of plants, including watering, fertilizing, and pruning.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the management of plant inventory, including tracking and ordering supplies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve greenhouse goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, hot.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
