Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

Shahi Drywall Contracting Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit production reports to management
  • Coordinate and schedule activities with contractors and suppliers
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Recruit and hire workers, and manage staffing actions
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Lead and instruct individuals on site
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people.

Experience:

This role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar position.

  • Participates in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, youth employment, Indigenous people, and mature workers
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
