The Opportunity

We are seeking a Head of Talent to join our Canadian team. As a remote position, applicants can be based anywhere in Ontario or British Columbia. At Shine, we prioritize creating accessible spaces for our team and talent, fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

About the Role

The Head of Talent will oversee the growth and goals of our Canadian team, working closely with social talent to meet their billing targets. This role involves managing a team of 8-12 members, analyzing billings, and strategizing with talent managers to drive results. The ideal candidate will have a passion for influencer marketing and talent management, with strong conflict resolution skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of talent managers to ensure they meet their billing targets
  • Analyze billings and recommend strategies to drive growth
  • Lead weekly meetings with the team to discuss progress and goals
  • Work with talent managers to ideate and implement larger group pitches
  • Evaluate talent roster for diversity and category fit, and direct the team in strategic casting efforts
  • Submit billing reports to the Managing Director
  • Track and analyze the team's proactive pitching efforts
