As a District Manager for The Mobile Shop, you will work closely with our partners in the field, focusing on achieving sales and profitability goals, driving operational excellence, and nurturing sales personnel through effective recruitment, training, coaching, and hands-on leadership at the store level. You will also be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the company's sales initiatives while meeting the district's sales, operational, and team development objectives.
The Mobile Shop operates in over 200 Loblaw and Loblaw-affiliated locations nationwide, providing a fresh and convenient shopping experience for wireless products. As one of Canada's largest full-service, multi-carrier retailers, we offer a wide range of leading wireless providers, including PC Mobile, and pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive service and impartial advice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set monthly objectives for each store and guide teams to achieve sales and profit targets
- Align the district with the annual company and sales goals by promoting the company's mission, vision, and values
- Recruit, train, and develop succession plans for top talent within the district, ensuring optimal staffing in stores
- Ensure operational goals are met according to company standards
- Participate in scheduled weekly District Manager meetings or calls
- Conduct daily coaching sessions (in-person or via phone) with Lead Advisors and Mobile Advisors, maintaining weekly coaching logs
- Oversee the inventory management process and reporting
- Champion loss prevention initiatives to safeguard the organization and its customers from fraudulent activities
- Review district payroll weekly to ensure accuracy
- Lead by example as a health and safety advocate in the workplace
- Foster positive working relationships between The Mobile Shop staff and Loblaw store employees
- Perform additional related duties as required
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of leadership and management experience, preferably in the wireless retail sector
- Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced sales environment
- Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities
- Proven track record of achieving results by motivating and engaging teams
- University Degree or College Diploma in Business or Finance, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the district; valid driver's license required
