About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at CRH Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess health and safety risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate health and safety hazards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance health and safety awareness and knowledge.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to health and safety performance.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Requirements
  • Technical diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety management in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and Quebec health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
