Job Title: Physiotherapist II

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work as a Physiotherapist II in the Peace River Community Health Centre, located in Peace River, Alberta. The community has a population of approximately 7,000 people and serves a larger rural area in Northwestern Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordination of physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services
  • Supervise students and team members as assigned
  • Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing leadership to other healthcare professionals
  • Make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up
  • Ensure physiotherapy practice is evidence-based and in alignment with Alberta legislation and regulations, professional standards of practice, code of ethics, and AHS policy and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
