Job Summary

As a Physiotherapist II, you will provide coordination of physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services. You will work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing leadership to other healthcare professionals. You will make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs regarding assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision of students and team members as assigned
  • Work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Make decisions and advise team members on complex clinical cases
  • Ensure physiotherapy practice is evidence-based and in alignment with Alberta legislation and regulations
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of an assigned service area
  • Monitor care delivery, identify service needs, and assist other medical staff with caseload management

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
