About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pita Pit Collingwood. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Oversee the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide training and guidance to food service staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Lead by Example

Set the standard for excellent customer service and ensure that all staff members are providing a high level of service to our customers.

Manage Budget and Finances

Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.

Address Customer Concerns

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that we resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.

Communicate with the Team

Establish and maintain effective communication with the food service team, ensuring that everyone is aware of their responsibilities and expectations.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
