Position Overview: Security Officer
The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of all personnel, visitors, and property. This position involves:
- Preparing detailed incident reports and ensuring that all record logs, including key logs, lost and found items, contractor passes, and emergency equipment, are meticulously maintained through daily audits.
- Completing all daily shift logs and shift handover logs to ensure seamless communication.
- Monitoring CCTV systems and conducting constant surveillance of the premises.
- Facilitating safety training for associates and proactively identifying and addressing safety hazards throughout the establishment.
- Staying informed about the property's events and activities during each shift, while providing a professional security presence with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Receiving and relaying all pertinent information from daily briefings to ensure a well-informed security operation.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred. Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of two to three years of experience in a security role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Compensation:
The compensation for the Security Officer position is competitive, with a base salary or hourly wage range that reflects the responsibilities of the role.
