Job Title: Academic Advising Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for Academic Advising Services
  • Screen, refer, and support students in a dynamic environment
  • Schedule appointments for central advisors and maintain accurate records
  • Develop proficiency in Mount Royal Systems and other relevant software
  • Take meeting minutes and provide administrative support
  • Assist with registration and applications, ensuring seamless student experiences
  • Support events and initiatives that promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing valuable insights for the university
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications, with a willingness to learn new technologies
