About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at BAWA CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train construction workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Resource Management: Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and ensure they are delivered to the site on time.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly, minimizing delays and costs.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in residential construction, with a proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
