Job Summary:The Residential Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, prepare production reports, and ensure projects are completed on time.
- Team Supervision: Supervise workers and projects, recruit and hire staff, and train or arrange for training.
- Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials, and ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and recommend personnel actions as needed.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction, with a strong background in project management and team supervision.
- Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
